[Solved] psychologist

My son lives in Cumbria and I think my child needs a psychologist, because he refuses to contact me without
any reason. I think my child has
parental alienation, so the psychologist has to know something about this.
How I can contact one for free from Nha or Cafcass?

I don't think you can approach a psychologist off your own back. Are you in the court process? If CAFCASS are involved then have a word with them about it. It's a difficult one as the resident parent, the mother, would be the one to get something like this by going to the child's GP and asking for a referral.

Thank You for your answer. No,I'm not in a court process yet. What's the child's GP?

In my case, the mother is the resident parent, but she let my son to decide if he wants to have contact with me or not. I'm thinking about going to court in order to get contact arrangements, and to know if my child , 12 yeras old, can already decide this things.

But, on the other hand I'm afraid that if I go to court I'll hurt the relation with my son. Do you known if I can get a court order (or something similar) with contact arrangements, without being involved in a court proceedings?

...their doctor.

Your best bet is to try mediation, this is now compulsory before you can go to court. If you can agree on contact at mediation then you could then apply for a consent order through the court.

Here's a link to the mediation service

Legal aid is still available for mediation, but not for help with Legal fees in court. Here's a link to find out iff you qualify for help with mediation costs
