Hi

Hope someone can help

I see my children every other weekend although this ends up being a lot more 🙂

The kids mum moved over a hour away from me around 3 years ago so to make it easier I took job working out near them to I could pick them up easier

There mum has now decided to tell me they are looking at moving to Ireland or Scotland

I've begged for her not to take them away from me as this will kill me but I think it's falling on death ears

Just wondering if anyone knows of what rights I have ?

My kids are 9 and 10 and they also do not want to move far from me and they have expressed this to there mum but all she says is that they will have more money if they move

I've asked if I could keep them but there mum also won't allow me to do this

I just want to be a dad and there my everything

Thank you

I'm really sorry you're going through this. Dealing with custody and relocation issues is tough, especially when you're so close to your kids. It's important to seek advice from a family law attorney who can help you understand your rights as a father and navigate this situation. Keep communicating openly with your children about how they feel, and reassure them of your love and support. I hope you find a resolution that allows you to stay close to them. Take care.

Hi,

She should not be moving away without your consent. If she will move, you could attempt to stop it by seeking a prohibited steps order, using a c100 form (child arrangements order.
