Mediation question

Does anyone know if you have to attempt Mediation before you apply to vary an existing CAO? I have approached the ex about increasing contact and she is refusing. I am looking to apply to go back to court online and it mentions attending a MIAM.

I did apply for mediation the first time I applied to courts and the ex refused to go. I just wanted to know if i HAVE to apply again first?

Hi,

Your last MIAM attendance letter is valid for 4 months. So if times passed, you would need to book another MIAM. Try mediateuk. They bypassed mediation with ex quickly for me as  no point.

@bill337 nice one, thank you.  I really don't want to waste the money on paying for mediation for it to go nowhere.

I used MediateUK on Bill's recommendation, quick and efficient. My Ex refused so i got my certificate within about 5 days attending my mediation appointment
