I am barely seeing my son at the moment. I have been restricted to 3 hours a week which has been renaged on many times. The mother is trying to minimise my contact. 2 days after my son was born ( he is 14 months ) she refused to put me on the birth certificate so I have no rights whatsoever. I have looked into legal proceedings but am a bit confused. The C100 form seems to rely on parental responsibility but I don't have that. What is the first step !!!
Any advice would be more than welcome !
hi,
if you are the bio parent of your son then you have parental responsibility, and should apply to court using c100. (birth certificate not needed for that.) you would need to sit a mediation session first, so they can give you permission to apply to court. mediation (MIAM) costs about £100. mediateuk are good for that.
then its £215 to submit c100 form.
