[Solved] Help with enforcement order

Hi everyone, I am still waiting for a court date, and recently I have terminated the use of my solicitor and doing it alone now as they just are not helpful at all and just seem to be interested in how much money they can get out of me.

Can anyone give me a heads up how these hearings are done, what am i to expect or what should I prepare for the day?

hi,

you should take a position statement with you as you would for a regular hearing. if its remote hearing, email it so court in advance. write about exactly how order was breached. you could write that you would like to request a penalty/penal notice attached to order so it gets taken seriously.

you could ask for police power of arrest to be added to it :p i doubt court would agree, but no harm in asking. it seems that a lot of enforcement hearings get converted into a variation of order, so you end up getting more contact with child. so I would focus on getting more child contact.

Thanks, that's useful to know. Just need a cloody date confirmed now, hoping it's not too long.

Hi Ferfer, when did you put your C79 in?
It's been crazy for us, we applied April and not heard a dickie bird since, no help on phones.
Partner went into court a couple of weeks ago and insisted on paying. They didn't like it but he paid.
Still nothing. So very frustrating.
In an odd position now, ex has started contact again after 16 weeks and being super nice and accommodating.
So worried now when and if the paper work drops. But something needs to happen to ensure this dont happen again!
Good luck with it all

It was in March, but nothing yet. I don't think she is aware I have submitted it though, so I am hoping we get something confirmed soon and she realises how serious I am about this

Yes we are the same. She has no idea and will completely lose it and see red when she get it.
Been tempted to speak with her and see if she's now ready for a vary between the 2 before court then possibly drop it if agreement to get something written up legally by mediatir/solicitor. But there is little trust there.
Caused to many past issues and lies are beyond a joke.
