well currently i am getting legal aid due to not working and being an agency worker and i also came to agreements with my lawyers that if i start working again that i can do a payment plan to pay stuff off but at the end of the day i would pay what i need if it means getting to be in my daughters life
Further information I have received the day I will be taking my ex to court definitely as she’s thinks cause she’s got in a new relationship that I’m not allowed to see my daughter and not allowed to be involved in her life , trying to say that until my daughter turns 16years old she doesn’t want me anywhere near my daughter or in her life so I will be taking it to court as my lawyers have put in for a c63 and put in for a dna test and to get stuff sorted ASAP
that's good. as the longer you leave it, the more you will suffer. sounds like your ex will be in for a shock/reality check in court 🙂
Do anyone know what kind of questions to expect from the courts as I can get myself prepared for it any advice would be great
at first hearing, they would like to know what the issues are. for this I would read out from my position statement. Usually cafcass are on hand and court tries to see if both parents can agree on matters. if not, or if theres some safeguarding issues, it will go to 2nd hearing and so on...
I have never applied for a PSO so don't know much about that. for me it was opposite. I asked court//cafcass to give me permission to take kids on holidays abroad.
your solicitor can help you a lot. will they be doing a position statement for you? as your on legal aid, will they be representing you?
My lawyer will be representing me when it goes to court I know that after having a discussing with my lawyer
ok, so they should be doing all the prep work like your position statements, drafting of court orders etc. you can relax then.
Anyone know anything that would be good to keep me occupied and mind busy as I’m finding myself just something thinking about stuff as today is a wee bit harsh as it’s my birthday and my lawyers tried to see if I could of had atleast a few hours with my daughter but my ex response was I can [censored] off
Going to the gym is a good way to occupy yourself, both mentally and physically.
It’s just trying to find the energy to get up and go as daft as it sounds just feel drained of everything these days
shame summers gone and cold weather setting in. i would have recommended road trips, visits to the beach etc. try reach out to friends, family. hang around with them. they may not know exactly what kind of situation your in, but their words of support/reassurance can help you.
you don't need to go gym. if your working, that should help take your mind off things. check out this guys short vid. his vids have helped me out a lot since [censored] hit the fan:
