Long story short... If I care for my daughter for a full day for example at the weekend but at the end of the day they go back to the mother is this accounted towards my care total? Or is the rule strictly based on nights?
Would be useful if you point me at any guidance that clarifys this!

With CMS they only take overnight stays into account unfortunately. They reduce your child maintenance if child stays with you at minimum for 1 night a week.
