Hi All,
Can I just say great job you guys do here. Well after paying for my child for nearly 7 yrs out the blue I received a letter from the CMS Friday saying I’m the father of child ........ and basically the mother is asking for more I see her every Friday and she’s never mentioned this, and previous thought there was no issues with the weekly payments I’ve been giving her which we agreed over 5 yrs ago when I left.
Anyway they’ve asked for £90 a week, but they know nothing about me and that I have 4 other children two being step children registered at my address will they take this into account? Also I read they take over 52 nights into account? Well I have him for 2/3 nights a week as well as the weeks here and there I book off work. What other things to they take into account before I ring them tomorrow. Anyone else had dealings with them?
Thanks in advance.
Mark
Yes they take note of all of that. They should send you a pack and you should get an online portal where you can give them all of this information.
hi,
yes you should tell them all about the other children living with you, so they reduce your maintenance. tell them how many nights you have your child for. also let them know if you pay into a pension. if you travel long distances to pick up and drop child, they also take expenses into account.
