Hi I’m new to this forum but I wonder if you are able to help? My daughter left school, started college didn’t go and then left and worked cleaning and at a care home. She is 18 and has now decided to back to college. As she was working and now wanting to go to college do I need to pay child support for her? I stopped paying on her 18th birthday as she was working her mother is threatening going to child maintenance services. Do I really have to pay if she chose to leave her jobs? Thanks Nick

hi,

this would depend on status of child benefit. if thats still active, then CMS would expect you to pay maintenance. final cut off age is 20.
