My child will be going to local college in September.  He will be 17. Do I continue to pay his mum for his keep. Do they get an allowance of some sort. Any advice welcomed

hi,

this depends on status of his child benefit. if mum has informed child benefit of education status, and if benefit office has approved it, then you would be expected to continue paying maintenance.
