Quick question, do Cafcass see statements and evidence that both parents have submitted to the court before is having our meetings?

Or do they only see the write up from court that I am the mother received after court? Explaining briefly what happened in court and what the court want them to investigate?

hi, generally CAFCASS look at the c100 form and court orders, as usually the order instructs them to write a section 7 report etc. but there is nothing wrong with sending Cafcass your position statement in advance of your phone call/interview with them. would help give them better picture of your situation.

Typically, CAFCASS will review all statements and evidence submitted by both parents to the court before conducting their meetings or investigations. This allows them to gather a comprehensive understanding of the family dynamics and issues involved. They will also receive instructions from the court outlining what specific aspects they need to investigate and report on. It's important to ensure that all relevant information and evidence are submitted to the court so that CAFCASS can make informed recommendations.

Thanks for this. I've been wondering if they went in blind sighted to form their own opinion when they meet us I thought only court see evidence.

In my case court have asked them to find out if mother is influencing my our child against me based on the evidence I produced a section 7 was ordered.

Her defense is my behavior but never had any evidence to back this and I knew she wouldn't as I haven't done anything.
