Exclusive: Transformers: The Last Knight star Mark Wahlberg on being a dad

The new blockbusting Autobots instalment, Transformers: The Last Knight, is in cinemas now. Jacqui Barrett from DAD.info caught up with actor Mark Wahlberg – who plays Texas inventor and protective father, Cade Yeager, in the movie – to find out how he deals with daddy duties in the human world…

Mark returns for more Autobot action in Transformers: The Last Knight

In the fifth Transformers 3D action-fest, Optimus has turned into his bad-boy nemesis Prime, the humans and Transformers are at war, and it’s down to inventor Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), English lord Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins) and Oxford professor, Vivian Wembley (Laura Haddock), to save the day, while you survive a mammoth two-and-a-half-hours of raging robots and some pretty impressive special effects (don’t forget the popcorn).

When he’s not battling Autobots, actor and producer Mark Wahlberg lives in L.A. with wife Rhea Durham and their four children, Ella, Grace, Michael and Brendan. We caught up with him in London on Father’s Day to chat about what it takes to be a real-life hero to his kids…
