2020 has been the toughest year ever for a lot of people; bringing difficulty and even tragedy to many. Major retailers have gone to the wall and more are likely to follow, causing further grief and heartache to many who will lose their job. The low paid are the most likely to have been impacted by the pandemic restrictions. We are being warned that there are likely to be more economic hardships to come.

The Money Course with HTB
But there is help: Holy Trinity Brompton in conjunction with debt relief charity Crosslight Advice, are starting online courses to help people to get on top of their finances.
Depending on your circumstances you can choose between a daytime format or an Evening format.
The Daytime version of the course consists of four sessions; each session is only half an hour. The first daytime session starts on Monday 8th Jan.
The Evening version of the course consists of two sessions, each session is one hour. The first session will be on Monday 11th Jan.
It aims to:
Explore your emotional relationship with money
Look practically at the basic building blocks for creating your own budget
Learn some simple tips for controlling your spending and getting your budgets to balance
Consider the importance of savings and the benefit of setting some simple saving goals
Think through issues of debt and the wise use of credit
Explore some principles around money that will contribute to improved mental well-being
Discover practical tools to manage your money day-to-day
